Stephen Burke - Sculptor & stone carver
Stephen Burke is a sculptor and architectural stone carver based in Dublin, Ireland.
He has worked on many large-scale projects throughout Ireland and the UK, ranging from contemporary public art commissions to the restoration of stone carving on historic buildings.
Stephen studied fine art in Dublin and Cork before studying architectural stone carving in London. While still a student he won many awards, including the prestigious Villiers David Foundation Award for Historic Carving.
He continues to work on large-scale projects, such as public art and major restorations, and also on private sculpture and lettering commissions. He is a member of the Lettercarvers Guild of Ireland.
